When Elaine and Nigel visit their old friend Alice in Zomba, they also see another old friend from St. Andrew’s, Claude, whose partner, Dalitso, happens to be the prostitute Elaine found on the floor with Nigel. Elaine doesn’t recognize her, but both Nigel and Dalitso are horrified. When Elaine has to go to England for 2 months, however, Dalitso gets revenge on her and Nigel for their treatment by enticing Nigel into drug abuse and sex with her. Masautso, however, rescues Nigel from her clutches before Elaine returns, and their homecoming revels are joyful and passionate.
