In the third story, Brad’s relationship with Pandora becomes personal rather than professional, and he invites her to become part of his family as a carer, bringing her son, Chet, with her. His daughters accept them both, and the younger, Sarah, becomes especially attached to Chet, and their close friendship leads to their introducing each other to sex.
It is at this point that their girls read their father’s stories and understand that his relationship with Pandora was far more intimate than they had supposed, a discovery that stuns and horrifies Sarah, especially when she discovers she is pregnant. There is lots of trouble, but it all ends surprisingly well.
