When a mysterious message appears across the sky saying “We Are Sorry,” archivist Jonah Hale discovers a hidden government report about a massive object that once appeared in Earth’s orbit decades earlier. Deep inside the archive vaults he finds an alien device that has secretly been studying humanity for fifty years and is about to send a signal revealing Earth’s existence to a powerful extraterrestrial civilization.
