Trevor Mills moves into a very cheap apartment and discovers his polite new roommate Gerald is actually a dragon who occasionally breathes fire and collects shiny objects. After a slightly chaotic community dinner reveals the truth, the surprisingly friendly neighbors accept Gerald and even grow excited about his incredible dragon cooking. Trevor realizes that living with a dragon turns out to be far more fun than ordinary apartment life, especially when the fire related incidents come with excellent toast.
