About
Summary
Everything is tradition in the weird town of Maple Hollow. The Pickle Festival is a colossal event; neighbours make cucumbers out of the community. However, when the mayor calls off the show, a passionate girl, June Bug, will not allow it to pass. She begins a revolution with many children, a dogmatic farmer, and even a doubtful pickle cannon that reinvigorates and revives more than a festival. The Pickle Rebellion is a heartwarming tale of resilience, small-town satire, and the need to fight for what is essential. Full of colorful characters, naughty raccoons, and jars of brine that preserve remembrance of generations, this story makes us realize that traditions are known to survive only when people decide to preserve them.Book information
