About
Summary
Glass is more than craft in the town of Elmswick; it is life, memory, and light. Mira is the glassmaker's daughter and wants to make beauty like her father, but when Mira finds a shard with its own fire, her world becomes different forever. Pulled into the fantasy of a large, broken hall of Glass, Mira gets to learn that all the windows and mirrors in her world are connected to this fragile one. When cracks are spreading on both of them, she is requested to repair them. Under the influence of a mysterious Watcher with silver eyes, Mira must deal with fracture-created shadows, sacrifice her youth, and decide between security and the weight of becoming a mender of worlds. Lyrical, luminous, The Glassmaker Daughter is a classic story of daring, sacrifice, and little strength inherent even in the most delicate things.Book information
