About
Summary
Rising From Within chronicles the life of a young woman, Amina, when her world falls apart because of another rejection letter and her new job loss. With no more than a sketchbook of half-fledged ideas and the sound of what her mentor has said, small beginnings matter, she ventures to begin again. What starts as a weak pilot project with few participants gradually evolves to be a flourishing community where individuals exchange expertise, develop self-esteem, and change lives. During the journey, Amina struggles with uncertainty, defeat, and the burden of starting small, only to learn that real change does not start with the ideal circumstances but with the determination to get up and stand up.
