It keeps apart three ways of stepping back, weighs what the research says about possible costs and where the evidence is missing, and looks honestly at the obvious ways back. Every piece of advice is marked Tested, Observed or Untested. Kelsey and the three other people at the heart of the book are composites. The studies are real.
