Stephanie lives in a 1914 farmhouse along the Columbia River with her thirteen-year-old daughter and an ever-changing menagerie of rescue animals, including a troublingly intelligent African Grey parrot named Aughty. When she’s not busy being the mom of a fiercely independent young hellion or writing new stories, Steph enjoys wine, gardening, sailing, and traveling to interesting places that make her own mother write "Worry!" in her calendar in bold letters.
