The title is *The Office of a Man Who Has Never Had to Share His Toys.* The writer says the room is not a room, it is a display case, and the man in it is not a person, he is a brand — and that she knows this because she designed it.
Sienna Barlow. Born in Hackney, Interior Architecture at the University of the Arts London, three firms before she went freelance. By five o'clock Julian has her whole life in a file, because he is thorough and because he has never once let anything go unanswered.
What the file does not contain is the rest of her week: an anonymous account that has evidence about her past and will use it unless she hands over the floor plans of the Sorenson building, and a phone that keeps buzzing with *Tomorrow or we expose you.*
So when the server room log produces her name against that file in the small hours — opened, then downloaded three minutes later — the case is already built, and it is already far too tidy.
There is also the part no one in the boardroom knows about: a sister whose hands have started to shake, a mother who has spent twenty years trying to forget, and a man genuinely afraid that he will wake up one morning and find he has turned into his father.
This is a contemporary billionaire romance set in London, about an acquisition, a viral takedown, a designer being squeezed, and a boy who threw a train out of a window. The romance is closed-door.
