The story follows Dr. Julian Hayes, a neuroscientist who develops a device that alters human time perception across milliseconds, seconds, and minutes. What begins as an elegant exploration of timing soon unravels as volunteers—himself included—experience emotional dysregulation, identity fragmentation, and perception collapse.
With pressure from both colleagues and shadowy figures like Dr. Reid and Dr. Brennan, Hayes must choose between advancing the Institute’s agenda or protecting those harmed by his discoveries.
As the fourth narrative compiled by Dr. Timothy Curran before his disappearance, The Temporal Architects reveals how deeply time and self are intertwined—and how far some will go to harvest it.
