The story introduces Eliza Walsh, a figure whose ambition threatens to destabilize the town, and deepens the role of Dr. Fiona Brennan, whose interest in Arlo hints at broader designs by Lios Áno.
As the second piece compiled by Dr. Timothy Curran before his disappearance, The Painter of Sandpiper Point expands BRENTANO’s central themes: the permeability of reality, the ethics of transformation, and the dangerous allure of reshaping the world through perception.
