The Astral Body and Related Phenomena by Arthur E. Powell, first published in London in 1927 by Theosophical Publishing House under the title The Astral Body and Other Astral Phenomena, is one of the most celebrated works of 20th-century Theosophical literature.
Powell, a former British Army officer and scholar of the Theosophical Society, accomplished a valuable work: he systematically collected and organized the teachings scattered throughout the works of Annie Besant and Charles W.
