Leif and the Northern Rebellion chronicles Leif's maturation as a military leader and strategist. After successfully defending the Southern Kingdom (the Bear Duchy), Leif understands that the only way to secure lasting peace is to march to the frozen north to liberate the oppressed peoples and definitively overthrow the generals loyal to the tyrant Alistair.
