Yvette does not scream and she does not beg. She goes back to the shop, she keeps her hands steady, and she starts pulling the one loose thread that will unravel the whole crooked binding. Because a lie built under tension tells the truth the moment it takes real weight, and she has spent her life reading exactly that.
The truth comes out. It comes out through real evidence and real courage, and it clears her name in front of the same town that watched her fall. But being proven right does not give Thaddeus his marriage back. He has to answer for the man who believed forged paper over the woman he vowed to trust, and he has to earn her forgiveness in deeds his billions cannot buy, while Yvette decides whether a thing that broke this way can ever be bound true again, on her terms and no one else's.
