Keeping family connections alive across generations
Helping DFV survivors access support in their own language
The Verdella program developed by WorkHaven offers support to survivors of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV), providing guidance as they move forward. But language can be a barrier, limiting access to these resources. We partnered with WorkHaven to provide audio guidance across 9 languages, to make the program accessible to more people.
Starting with English, Verdella is using our voice technology to create audio for each activity across their nine modules. These audio files guide participants through the program, making it possible to personalize each step. Now, with translations certified by 2M Language Services, Verdella is producing audio in eight additional languages: Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Punjabi, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. This expansion means more survivors will be able to follow the program in the language that feels best for them.

Supported by the Office for Women in Queensland, the Verdella audio program is offered free through local employers and services, allowing DFV survivors to access support at all times. With our technology, WorkHaven makes its resources reach further.
We’re glad to be part of Verdella’s work, helping make support available to those who need it most. Our partnership stands to show how technology can bring people closer to help that feels personal and familiar.
