Amplified: Impact Program Year End Review

Since launching the Impact Program in August 2024, we’ve collaborated with 50 remarkable nonprofit organizations across 46 U.S. states and over 15 countries, producing thousands of hours of narration to amplify their missions. These voices—each driving meaningful change—highlight our shared humanity and our ability to inspire and uplift one another. Impact Program Year in Review

At ElevenLabs, we're on a mission to empower 1 million voices through the transformative power of AI audio technology. This year, we launched our Impact Program to provide free ElevenLabs licenses to nonprofits driving social good. From improving accessibility to advancing education and enriching cultural experiences, we’ve partnered with organizations worldwide to create meaningful change in their communities. Here are some inspiring stories of how these efforts are making a global impact.

Accessibility

At the core of our mission is a deep commitment to accessibility, ensuring that those who need it most can connect with the world in meaningful ways. We support individuals with voice or vision impairments, helping them navigate daily life and engage with the world more fully. One of the highlights of this year has been our partnership with Bridging Voice and The Scott Morgan Foundation, where we launched the Impact program by offering free voices to ALS and MND patients. A significant moment in accessibility this year was Representative Jennifer Wexton speaking on the House floor using a voice recreated by AI. After losing her ability to speak due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), she worked with ElevenLabs to create a voice that allowed her to continue serving as a public leader. We look forward to working with her team in the future on new initiatives!

Culture

These stories are a powerful reminder of the human connections that our technology helps create. But it’s not just in healthcare where we’ve seen the impact—it’s in the creative spaces too, by opening doors for cultural institutions to explore new ways of storytelling and expression. By partnering with organizations like Museverse and Disabled Art we bring museum plaques to life with ElevenLabs voices to unlock accessibility to art around the world. One example we're particularly proud of is our collaboration with KADIST, a nonprofit contemporary art organization that believes in the power of artists to shape progressive societies. Now until January 2025, their exhibit at the Centre Pompidou in Paris features original AI-generated plays, with voiceovers created entirely using ElevenLabs. As you walk into the Apophenia exhibit on the museum’s fourth floor, you’re invited to sit on a Parisian park bench and immerse yourself in this unique auditory experience.

Education

Now, let's turn to another area where we've seen incredible impact: education. Technology has the power to break down barriers, and at ElevenLabs, we’re helping to create new opportunities for learning and development. Whether it's empowering immigrants in Norway with entrepreneurial skills through MIKS, or educating women in rural villages in Pakistan through the Wang Lab of Innovation, AI is reshaping how education is approach around the world. Based in Detroit, Life Heroes is a digital world, and based on 11 characters they introduce kids to diverse careers that support the planet’s interconnected ecosystem, while teaching essential life skills and supporting their development as students. The Heroes who make up the universe are inspired by real people and real stories because they want to make it easier for kids to find role models that they can relate to everywhere and anywhere.

As we look back on this year, we’re filled with gratitude for all the partnerships, projects, and impact we've been able to be a part of. Together, we’re making a difference—and this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see where the next year takes us.
