Toshi Casey’s work has appeared in Plain China, Gap-Toothed Madness, Pronounced Poetry, and The American River Review, where she served as Poetry Editor and Editor-in-Chief. She holds a BA in English and Critical Theory from UC Davis and has studied at Bennington’s MFA Writing Seminars and the Tomales Bay Writers’ Workshop. Her poetry has received multiple honors. She works in academic administration at UC Berkeley and is completing her collection The Art of Separation, exploring family, heritage, and motherhood. She lives in Sacramento with her two sons.
