Eli Mercer returns to his family’s remote valley, where wolves--long thought gone--have returned. He encounters their presence through haunting howls, tracks, and eventually a growing pack with pups. As fear grips the nearby town, Eli and wildlife biologist Lila Ortiz work to understand the wolves’ patterns and boundaries. Through observation, patience, and respect, Eli learns that coexistence requires listening, not control. The wolves teach him the valley’s rhythms, and in doing so, he finally finds a place where he truly belongs.
