Rylan and Mara race through the maze’s final, deadly stage, exhausted but more aware than ever of its patterns. Guided by a mysterious sphere, they dodge collapsing floors, spikes, and shadowy illusions that try to separate them. Realizing the maze tests understanding rather than strength, they begin predicting its traps. Using a vial from earlier, they repel the shadows and cross the final platforms. At last, a massive door opens to daylight. They escape alive, having endured and understood the maze’s intelligence together.
