The book of Job is a literary masterpiece, handling critical questions of justice and faith with some of the most beautiful poetry in the Bible. Tender in some parts and brutal in others, the dialogue between Job and his conversation partners transcends religion and challenges cliches to speak to the heart of the human condition. Sadly this resource is often overlooked in favour of the story that frames the poem, but this study proposes a new approach to the book of Job. With pastoral sensitivity and theological awareness, this short study unpacks the complexities of Job's situation and offers fresh perspectives on ancient wisdom.
