The Wings is a silkpunk survival story set in a world where humanity has been forced to the mountain peaks to live above a toxic, mist-shrouded wasteland. The narrative follows a resourceful scavenger who flies a jury-rigged set of wings made from pine resin and canvas. When her younger brother, Julian, falls ill with a deadly fever, she risks the treacherous North currents to reach a distant trade outpost for medicine.
