About this audiobook
It is the dawn of The Great War. Young Ronald Ewart is ready to be enlisted, but before he does, he travels to Scotland to visit his fiancée Myra McLeod. While out fishing together, Myra inexplicably loses her sight after witnessing a green flashing light. Her father has an odd experience as well, and then Myra's faithful dog also goes blind. They turn to a leading eye specialist who happens to be a bit of an amateur detective and he takes on himself to resolve the mystery of the green ray.
