She has interviewed such leading authors as Hilary Mantel, Maggie O’Farrell, Bernardine Evaristo, Sally Rooney, and Amy Tan. Passionate about short stories, Haydock has worked for the Sunday Times Short Story Award and is associate director of the Word Factory literary organization.
