Emma is the one who hands him the file, months later, because she cannot carry it on her own any more and there is nobody else in the organisation she trusts with it.

He is playing for a club that lied to him for three years, coached by a man who covered up how his father died. He can prove it. He can say it. Whether anybody in that building forgives him for the way he proves it is a separate question, and this book does not answer it kindly.
