Summary
The Black Sheep is based on Eli Turner, a reserved dreamer who was being dwarfed by his siblings and was constrained by the demands of farm life in Willow creek. He finds his place in books and art and is forced to deal with the disappointment of his family, and finally decides to choose his own way, leaving home to follow his own uncertain and unsure way.
