Sometimes, the hardest thing isn’t leaving. It’s staying.
When a burned-out teen boards a plane with their silent father, they leave behind more than a failed plan—they bury a version of themselves they’re not ready to face. Their destination: a devastated beach in Hawaii, where survival means picking up garbage, staying unnoticed, and keeping one eye on the exit.
But the beach has other plans.
Among strangers and salt-soaked wreckage, they find something unexpected: a rhythm, a purpose, and a girl named Jada who sees more than she says. Each piece of trash cleared pulls them closer to a choice they never thought they’d have to make—run, or rebuild.
In a place scarred by the sea, can one broken person learn to stay long enough to heal?
