About
Summary
As Emily joins a special after-school program led by Ms. Peterson, she discovers she's not alone in her ability to "see the lights." She finds community with other children who share her unique perception, while Alex meets with Dr. Weiss to discuss competing theories about the phenomenon affecting his family.
Meanwhile, Sarah can no longer ignore the changes in her husband and daughter. She discovers more of Emily's drawings but this time they seem to predict future events, the balance between ordinary life and extraordinary perception begins to fracture.
Beneath the surface of reality, something in the system architecture itself has taken notice of the Foster family's unusual connection. As night falls over Chicago, the boundary between observer and observed grows thin, revealing that perception itself might be changing the nature of reality.
