Solitary Confinement follows Elias Martel, a teacher wrongly convicted and held in solitary. A mysterious book by “Julian Darke” teaches him survival techniques and connects him to a centuries-long “chain” of imprisoned voices. He befriends a fellow inmate, Dante, through tapped codes. After a deadly fire, Elias is exonerated and spends decades advocating against solitary confinement. He discovers an ethereal library containing the stories of all isolated prisoners. Ultimately, he learns the chain is not a physical place but an eternal act of listening and responding—a promise that no one suffers alone.
