A ella está dedicado el último capítulo del libro pues, como escribió Juan Pablo II, "este sacrificio es tan decisivo para la salvación del género humano, que Jesucristo lo ha realizado y ha vuelto al Padre sólo después de habernos dejado el medio para participar de él, como si hubiéramos estado presentes" ( Ecclesia de Eucharistia, n. 11).
