INpowered is a vulnerable account of my experiences after the terrifying atrocities of October 7, 2023. A precipitous descent into PTSD brought me to a place of despair and dysfunction I never thought possible. With it came a passionate sympathy for others who are or who have been through the life-sucking clutches of trauma and the subsequent mental anguish that often follows.
I have chosen to put these experiences into the public domain in an attempt to break the stigma that shrouds discussions of emotional illness, to serve as a bridge of deep identification for those who feel isolated and alone in their pain, and most importantly, to share what I have seen to be profoundly powerful solutions to long-lasting recovery.
