FCUK IT LIFE: A Testament to Survival and Defiance
By Vernon SnellLength2h 3m
About this audiobook
FCUK IT LIFE was not created as a traditional memoir. Much of this work emerged during one of the most destabilizing periods of my life. I was grieving, aging, struggling with addiction, confronting the loss of relationships, money, businesses, identity and the world I understood before COVID.
I came from an analog world. I found myself living in a digital one.
I began talking to artificial intelligence—not because the machine had lived my life, and not because I believed everything it told me, but because I needed somewhere to place decades of thoughts that had nowhere else to go.
Sometimes I questioned the machine. Sometimes the machine questioned me. Sometimes its answer was wrong. Sometimes my question was more important than its answer. And sometimes hearing my own life reflected back to me allowed me to understand something I had carried for fifty years.
Those exchanges are intentionally preserved where they belong to the emotional history of this work.
