The Silent Ward is a story about a Nigerian physician who is struggling to make ends meet by working long hours, on low wages, and trying to maintain dignity in a dysfunctional health system. It shows the strength, devastation, and silent sacrifices of physicians who have more than medicine on their shoulders, working in overcrowded wards through vivid experiences. This is not merely an account of one career, but that of survival in a location where passion is put to the test day after day. It delves into the reasons behind such departure not due to greed, but in pursuit of respect, permanence and promise of a better future.
