Summary
Honora Carter, orphaned by a stagecoach robbery, and her younger sister are trapped under their oppressive uncle in Montana. Her escape lies in answering a mail-order bride ad. Taylor Brooks, with dreams of bringing electricity to the West, moves to California against his father's wishes. To solidify his status and pursue building a moonlight tower in San Jose, he places a bride ad. However, unexpected events disrupt their plans. Together, Honora and Taylor discover that the power of love is stronger than electricity or human force.
