About this audiobook
Pray the Rosary is a concise yet spiritually rich guide to one of Catholicism's most enduring forms of contemplative prayer. Rather than treating the Rosary as mere repetition, the book presents it as a disciplined meditation on the mysteries of Christ's life seen through the prayerful gaze of Mary. Its style is lucid, devotional, and pastoral, belonging to the tradition of twentieth-century Catholic manuals that sought to unite sound doctrine, affective piety, and practical instruction for ordinary believers. J. M. Lelen was a Catholic priest and devotional author whose writings reflect a deep concern for making the Church's prayer life accessible to the faithful. His pastoral sensibility is evident in the book's emphasis on reverence, perseverance, and interior attention. Writing in a context when printed prayer books formed the spiritual education of many Catholics, Lelen offers guidance shaped by liturgical awareness and Marian devotion. This book is recommended for readers seeking a thoughtful introduction to the Rosary, as well as for longtime practitioners wishing to renew a familiar devotion. It is especially valuable for those who desire prayer that is simple in form yet profound in theological depth.
