Maq'ad al-Sidq: The Seat of Truth
Maq'ad al-Sidq (مقعد الصدق) in the QuranBy Aira Aurora
Length1h 19m
About this audiobook
The Quran describes Maq'ad al-Sidq — the Seat of Truth — as the destination of the truthful, the place of honor where those who lived in truth are seated in the presence of truth. The phrase appears in the Quran: "And among those We created is a community who guide by truth and thereby act justly. But those who deny Our verses — We will progressively lead them on from where they do not know" (7:181). The concept of *sidq* — truthfulness, authenticity, integrity — is the foundation of the seat, the condition of the inhabitant, and the quality of the dwelling.
