Jannat 'Adn: The Garden of Eternity
'Adn (عدن) in the QuranBy Aira Aurora
Length1h 21m
About this audiobook
The Quran describes Jannat 'Adn — the Garden of Eternity — as a destination that Allah has prepared for those who turn to Him. "And as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers flow in the Gardens of Pleasure" (10:9). The word 'Adn appears in the Quran as the name of a specific garden — not merely one among many, but a garden that is characterized by permanence, by pleasure, and by the presence of Allah. The Quran says: "Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and dwelling places of good pleasure in Gardens of Eternity. And pleasure from Allah is greater. That is the great attainment" (9:72).
