This book is written for all people. We all face challenges in life. How we move through life determines our state of disability. I faced different challenges in my life: the loss of a leg while still a successful athlete, life as a transgender woman, and even challenges as a parent. This book looks at my coming to understand how my disability was more than being an amputee.
Join me in these personal pages as you look at your own view of disability. This is the second version of this tale. It is a greatly expanded look at what being disabled has meant for me. I hope that sharing my story may help you.
