About this audiobook
Aad: The People of the Wind is the second book in the Nations and Peoples of the Quran series. It covers the people of Aad — the successors of Nuh's people and the second destroyed nation. The book traces the nation before the wind, their extraordinary power and pride, the building of Iram of the Pillars, Hud's preaching and call to tawhid, the warning and the mockery, the cloud they mistook for rain, the wind that destroyed them for seven nights and eight days, the few who believed and were saved, the empty dwellings that remain, Aad as the second paradigm of destruction, and lessons on power, wealth, precedent, the unseen, and the self-deception of the arrogant.
