About
What if some of the things you were taught about science were never quite true?
The Boring Science Stuff series takes familiar facts, famous experiments, scientific myths and everyday claims and asks one simple question:
What actually happened?
Across the series, B. Tenorio examines the evidence behind the things we think we know—from the way we see and hear the world to the strange machinery of taste, touch and smell, and the stories that science has accumulated along the way.
Some claims turn out to be true. Some are partly true. Some have been stretched, simplified or misunderstood. Others survived because the wrong version was easier to teach, remember or sell.
The result is science stripped of the comfortable answers: curious, sceptical, occasionally funny, and always asking what the evidence really supports.
Because sometimes the most interesting scientific discovery is finding out that the thing you thought you knew was wrong.
