I am Yasmin Zimmermann. A novice writer born near Austria to an Iranian mother and a German father. Raised under my father’s strict religious control, I overcame deep shame about my body and desires through therapy and embracing my sexuality. In my raw, unflinching narrative I celebrate modern women’s resilience, advocating for mental health care without stigma. I hope to inspire young women to live authentically, reject societal shame, and claim agency over their bodies and lives, offering hope to those navigating paths to self-discovery.
