William Hope Hodgson (1877–1918) was an
English author famous for his contribution to the horror and fantastic fiction
genres, though he was also a poet, photographer, and sailor. Some of his better-known
works include The Night Land and The House on the Borderland. His
writings are reflective of his power of expression.
