W.H. Märchen, a U.S. Navy veteran, began writing Are You The One? as a personal creative outlet that evolved into a deeper examination of consciousness and blending a multidimensional fractal model of universal expansion with elements of science, philosophy, and spirituality.
An avid athlete, he competed in BMX, cross-country mountain biking, and road cycling before turning to golf. After the Navy, he earned BSEE and MSCS degrees.
He spent twenty-five years at NIH, collaborating on a wide range of research projects and working with scientists from diverse disciplines.
