Dean has traveled extensively throughout the USA to see and feel the "Echos of History" for himself. He is primarily interested in the Revolutionary War that created America and the Civil War that saved the country. He often portrays historical events from the point of view of the everyday men and women of the period. His research and writing prove that any average person can effect a great change in history, for better or worse.
