Tazo is a flutist, a teacher, and a writer — and, by his own account, a man who went looking for the music hidden inside ordinary things and never quite came back. He was a young music student when he read, in Plato, that the soul is music, and the sentence set the course of his life.
For many years since, from a house beside the Colorado River in the high desert, he has kept a single discipline: contemplating nature's riddles until they open, and writing down what comes.
He writes for anyone who has ever stood at the edge of water and felt that something was about to speak.
