T.D. Inoue grew up in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, surrounded by many of the greatest scientific minds in neuroscience and developmental biology. He went on to create the first Artificial Intelligence undergraduate curriculum at Cornell University. Later, he developed digital image processing systems. He now writes hard science fiction at his home in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
