Shelby Matheson is an Australian author of middle-grade and YA books. Her upcoming title, Elsewhere, is the first in a middle-grade fantasy trilogy published by Wombat Books. It features a mysterious school in the woods, a formidable headmistress, and a sentient forest that grants magical powers to lost children. Shelby has a Bachelor of Journalism and Creative and Critical Writing, and a Graduate Diploma in Editing and Publishing. She has been writing full-length novels since she was fourteen and has always known that being an author was her dream job.
