Shawn's fascination with languages, psychology, and persuasion began at age 17 and has shaped his life's work. After studying cultural anthropology and specialized linguistics in Dallas, Texas, he attended Dallas Theological Seminary for three years before pursuing his passion for language acquisition across Korea, Russia, and China.
