Born and raised in northern Alaska, Seth Kantner’s debut novel, Ordinary Wolves, won a Whiting Award, while A Thousand Trails Home received a Whiting Grant. His other books include an earlier memoir, Shopping for Porcupine, and collection of essays, Swallowed by the Great Land.
