She’s the author of Fallen Poppies, The Last Boy, and All the Summers of You, as well as the short story Mary Ellen and poetry collection The Other Side of the Rock.
She also writes children’s books under the name D.C. Thomson.
Deena lives in Ontario, Canada, surrounded by her grown children and her stinky dog Gus.
